This is by far our most popular course. The Open Water Diver Course is the first full certification course in the diving education system. During this course you will learn all the skills needed to dive confidently and enjoy the beauty of our underwater world.
The process is simple, you’ll learn at your own pace, and once you’re finished, bring your certificate of completion when you meet with your instructor for your first pool session. Before you splash there is some paperwork to complete, and any of your questions or concerns related to the training will be addressed. Don’t forget your swimsuit, towel, mask, snorkel, boots (if necessary) and fins the first day of class. Speak to your instructor about the right gear to purchase before you head to your favorite retailer.
Who this course is for:
- Anyone (ages 18 and above, or 10-17 with parental consent) who is interested in exploring the waters around us — fresh or salt, there is an amazing world full of creatures and new discoveries for you to make. Not so sure, then talk to your instructor who can discuss Scuba Discovery classes that you can participate in before (pardon the pun) jumping in.
